Along the interior rails of a standard full-size crib, this liner wraps the wooden slats in our finest AirflowBaby weave. The cloth sits flat against the timber rather than bunching or adding bulk. Machine washable panels attach directly to the corner posts and side rails for a neat fit.

Long and short panels

Two separate lengths cover the interior. Use the long piece along the front and side slats, or add the short piece to complete all four walls. Both panels wrap around corner posts and fasten in place with hook and loop strips.

Soft microfiber trim

Every cut edge is bound in smooth microfiber tape. The neat border keeps the fine mesh from fraying along the upper rail and creates a clean line across the front of the crib.

Solid gray colorway

Woven from dyed gray yarns, this solid shade carries a soft, neutral presence across the room. It sits quietly against dark walnut, natural pine, or painted white crib frames.

Lower edge placement

The bottom border pulls down below the top of the mattress so the fabric lies flush against the lower slats. Fastened firmly, the lightweight cloth remains flat along the wood rather than sagging.

Not a crib bumper under federal law

When Congress banned padded crib bumpers, the definition CPSC wrote does not include a non-padded mesh crib liner. Our panels sit outside that ban.

No recall of the mesh panels

The mesh liners have never been recalled. One product was, in 2013: a wearable blanket we stopped making that year.

What the guidance says, in full

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a bare crib: a firm flat mattress, a fitted sheet, and nothing else in it. That recommendation does not carve out mesh liners. Federal law and pediatric guidance say different things here, and we would rather you read both than hear only the half that suits us.

Fitting it, in order

Face the side with the larger holes into the crib, so the finer surface sits outward.
Run the panel along the inside of the rails and wrap the last slat at each end.
Point the ties upward and fasten them on the outside of the frame, never inside.
Set the bottom edge about an inch below the top of the mattress, then pull every tie snug.

Keep it tight against the crib side. Do not use it if it hangs loose or sags toward the mattress. Position the ties on the outside of the crib and pull them snug. Never put pillows or anything else in the crib alongside it. Never use it in a toddler bed or bassinet.

When to take it out

Take the panel out of the crib once your baby can pull up to standing against the crib side, which starts at around six months. An older baby can use it to climb.

Is this a padded bumper?

No. It is a non-padded mesh panel. The Safe Sleep for Babies Act was signed in May 2022, and the ban on padded crib bumpers took effect that November. It reaches padded bumpers, vinyl guards and vertical slat covers. The definition CPSC wrote for it does not include a non-padded mesh crib liner.
