Will a panel fit my crib?

It depends on the ends of the crib more than anything else, which is why the first thing we ask is what they look like. Will it fit my crib narrows 44 pieces down to the ones cut for the frame you have.

Is this the same thing as a crib bumper?

No. A bumper is padded, and these are not. The Safe Sleep for Babies Act was signed in May 2022, and the ban on padded crib bumpers took effect that November. It reaches padded bumpers, vinyl guards and vertical slat covers. The definition CPSC wrote for it does not include a non-padded mesh crib liner.

What does the pediatric guidance say?

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a bare crib: a firm flat mattress, a fitted sheet, and nothing else in it. That recommendation does not carve out mesh liners. Federal law and pediatric guidance say different things here, and we would rather you read both than hear only the half that suits us.

When does the panel come out?

Take the panel out of the crib once your baby can pull up to standing against the crib side, which starts at around six months. An older baby can use it to climb.

Which gauge holds back more light?

Not the finest one, which is the answer most people expect. Classic is 3mm and holds back 85%, Deluxe is 4mm and holds back 80%, AirflowBaby is 2mm and holds back 60%, so the order runs by weave rather than by gauge. The gauge is printed on every listing that has one.

How is it washed?

In the machine, with the hook and loop tabs closed so they do not catch on the mesh, and dried on a low setting. The water temperature is not the same across the whole catalog, so it is printed on each piece rather than stated once here, where it would be wrong for about half of them.

Where do I actually buy it?

On the listing the buttons open. The retail partner holds the stock, sets the price and handles the order from that point on. Nothing is bought on this site.
