Panel lengths matched to the shape of your crib
We cut our mesh to sit flat along the wooden rails. Cribs with slatted ends take the longer cuts, cribs with solid wooden ends take short panels along the open sides, and mini cribs take our dedicated short panels.

The panels are tested to the ASTM standard for infant bedding and related accessories.

The mesh is measured by the textile industry method for how readily air passes through a fabric.
Not a crib bumper under federal law
When Congress banned padded crib bumpers, the definition CPSC wrote does not include a non-padded mesh crib liner. Our panels sit outside that ban.
No recall of the mesh panels
The mesh liners have never been recalled. One product was, in 2013: a wearable blanket we stopped making that year.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a bare crib: a firm flat mattress, a fitted sheet, and nothing else in it. That recommendation does not carve out mesh liners. Federal law and pediatric guidance say different things here, and we would rather you read both than hear only the half that suits us.
Classic weave mesh crib liner
This is our Classic weave panel, edged in matching trim with hook and loop fasteners along the outer border. Fabric ties bind the cloth to the rails, pulling the length taut against the frame. It washes in home machines and dries flat without losing shape.

Fitting a panel, and keeping it right
The same four moves every time, and the four things that undo them.
Do
- Face the larger holes into the crib.
- Fasten the ties on the outside of the frame, pointing up.
- Wrap the end slat on each side so the panel cannot slide.
- Close the hook and loop tabs before the panel goes in the wash.
Do not
- Do not leave it on once your baby can pull up to standing.
- Do not treat it as a padded bumper, and do not add one.
- Do not add pillows, quilts or loose blankets to the crib.
- Do not dry it on a hot setting.
Keep it tight against the crib side. Do not use it if it hangs loose or sags toward the mattress. Never use it in a toddler bed or bassinet.
When to take it out. Take the panel out of the crib once your baby can pull up to standing against the crib side, which starts at around six months. An older baby can use it to climb.

We cut our mesh panels to lay flat along the slats. Each print runs across our crib liners, rail covers, and percale sheets, so the room carries one pattern from the mattress up to the top rail.
How we weave mesh panels and build crib sets
Our workroom cuts woven mesh for three crib styles, pairing each frame shape with specific panel lengths and matching cotton bedding.
We weave three distinct meshes: our AirflowBaby weave, our Classic weave, and our Deluxe weave. The AirflowBaby weave is the finest construction of the three. Our Classic weave holds back the most daylight, while the Deluxe weave is our most open fabric. Full-size slatted frames take a long panel combined with short panels to wrap the four sides. Cribs with solid ends take only the short panels across their open slats, and mini cribs use their own shorter cuts.
