On a toddler bed, this pillowcase covers a small insert and sits against the fitted sheet. We cut it from plain-weave cotton percale that softens as you launder it. The Elephant pattern repeats across the front and back in soft, matte ink.

Cotton percale cloth

We choose a classic one-over, one-under weave that stays flat and smooth against the fill. The cloth folds cleanly without bulk and holds its rectangular envelope shape across the bed. It packs down small in a drawer.

Stitched end hem

The open edge is finished with a turned hem and straight machine stitching that keeps the mouth of the case flat. It slides over the insert smoothly and lies even without curling back after laundering.

Wash and wear

This cotton goes into the washing machine and tumble dries on low heat. The weave resists shrinking and gathers a softer hand with each cycle, while the elephant figures stay crisp against the pale ground.

Elephant pattern
